The 50 Round, Slip-Top Handgun Ammo Box offers square holes, with a slip-top lid for storing and transporting reloads. It features the same polypropylene construction as our other ammo boxes, so you never have to worry about warping, cracking, chipping, peeling, expanding or contracting. First opening it's doors in 1968, MTM Molded Products began as a simple idea for storing ammo. Founder, Bill Minneman, an avid hunter since early childhood, needed a sturdy container to store his reloaded ammo. At the time, everyone settled with paper bags or cardboard boxes. A toolmaker by trade, and a practical inventor by nature, Bill created the Case-Gard 50 series, which is still available today.
