Details: If you want to get rid of that bird nest hanging out just in front of your handlebar, you'll need a new compression fitting and threaded hose barb for the end of the freshly cut hoses of an Avid or SRAM braking system. The SRAM Stealthamajig barb and compression fitting is SRAM original equipment and is designed to get the job done right. The barb threads into the end of the hose and the compression fitting slides over the lever or caliper end of the hose and creates a seal when it is crushed by tightening the hose fitting bolt into the lever body or caliper. Always worth keeping a few in the toolbox or work stand.
