Details: Installation Instructions:
-Remove old replacement grip (and any overgrips) down to the bare base material.
-Place the paddle on your lap with the handle end facing skyward.
-Starting at the tip of the handle, wrap the tapered side of the grip counter-clockwise while removing tape's protective backing simultaneously. Make sure that the angled side of the replacement grip's taper faces the tip of the handle. This will ensure that the wrap naturally overlaps itself.
-Continue wrapping around the handle towards the neck, pulling the grip taut as you wrap and checking that it overlaps about 1/16" each round.
-At your desired ending point, cut the leather with very sharp scissors at an angle so that it lines up perpendicularly with the handle. To make this step easier, wrap a little extra around and draw a dashed line along the cut line prior to unwrapping and making the actual cut.
-Grab the included finishing tape and adhere it around the cut end counter-clockwise to match the wrap direction.
-Get out and play! (May have a short break-in period.)
