This squeeze water filter removes 99.99999% of bacteria such as Salmonella, Cholera, and E. coli, 99.9999% of protozoa including Giardia and Cryptosporidium, and 100% of microplastics, providing safe, clean drinking water from lakes, rivers, streams, and faucets worldwide. The filter uses 0.1 micron absolute filtration, meaning no pore is larger than 0.1 microns, which physically blocks harmful contaminants while allowing clean water to pass through. Performance is verified by independent laboratory testing, including Hydreion, LLC (Microbiological Report S05-03) and certified labs Aquadiagnostics Laboratories and Envirotek Laboratories (S1–2512B-12512C; S3–12514-12514A). At the core of the Sawyer MINI is a hollow fiber membrane system made of thousands of tiny tube-like fibers.
