  • Ensure the insulation tap is removed, the panel is clean, and the battery is properly connected. Fully charged the solar panel under sunlight for 12 hours at the first time use. Make sure there is no strong light source around the light at night.

  • A weak battery is the most common reason for dim light. Trim overgrown branches or relocate the light to a sunnier spot (avoid areas shaded during peak hours). Wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt.

  • The battery didn't charge fully due to cloudy weather, a dirty panel, or shade. Clean the solar panel thoroughly and ensure it gets 6-8 hours of direct sunlight.

  • Battery performance drops in extreme cold; or snow/ice covering the panel blocks sunlight. Clear snow/ice from the panel (use a soft brush to avoid scratching). Remove the light, clean it, fully charge the battery, and store it in a cool, dry place.

  • The sensor (which detects darkness) is blocked, dirty, or faulty. Clean the sensor solar panel with a soft cloth, dirt can trick it into thinking it's dark.
